Galit Cohen obtained her Ph.D. in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, where she studied exciton dynamics in materials and developed computational approaches to elucidate electron–phonon interactions and non-adiabatic effects. Her research interests include computational materials science, many-body theory, and the role of electron–phonon interactions in shaping materials functionality.
